Prime 1000 represents a signifcant experiential departure from the the traditional steakhouse. The design balances modern aesthetic sensibilities and lofty, industrial touches with rustic, reclaimed design features. A saturated, elegant color scheme and rich textures balance sleek minimalism and custom fabricated elements throughout three dining & lounge areas.
Guests are greeted by a rare, artful glimpse into the beef aging process uniquely showcased upon entrance in a dry aged cooling room lined with Himalyan salt blocks intended to intensify beef flavors. The main dining room, which seats 65, is divided into unique table nooks by an expansive white banquette positioned to take advantage of substantial windows that frame street life on Washington Avenue. The sprawling ceiling height is balanced by custom fabricated light fixtures that hover over tables providing an airy, yet inviting, more intimate feel in a once stark space. A wall of undulating etched steel panels and scuptural planters call to mind an idyllic pastoral scene on the feature wall.
Just off the dining room is an exclusive mezzanine area that will host VIP events for the most discriminate guest list. A 50 seat cocktail lounge includes an extensive wine list and cocktail menu, a lavish custom, illuminated bar and extra table seating to round out the upscale, artful vibe consistent throughout Prime 1000.
